After remarks from the local authority of environmental issues, regarding the levels of oil and other harmful liquids polluting the water outlet, Nerikes Allehanda decided to install EcoLine2tusen®.- Our test results have improved radically and the authority of environmental issues is pleased.- We now have several EcoLine2tusen® installed in our printing works and we are planning to equip the street draining inlets in our loading and parking area with EcoLine2tusen®, says the local manager Leif Windahl.

Handling of harmful waste with Ecoline2tusen

As an environmental certificated company, ISO14001, Torsten Ullman AB handles oil products according to certain specifications. "We have to make sure that no chemicals are dispersed into the environment from our processes or from an unforeseen oil discharge into the surface water drainage". "To decrease the levels of oil in surface water drainage the water outlet (which contains oil and emulsions) is led through Ecoline2tusen which separates oil from water until only purified water remains. The absorption filter is then sent as harmful waste to VAFAB for disposal", explains the satisfied environment coordinator Martti Terävä.

In the middle of 1990´s Västerås Harbour started activities around environmentally questions and installed the system ISO 14001. They discovered very soon that their knowledge about harmful liquids is not enough. Oil and detergents, and chemicals passes out in Mälaren and poison it.

We contact Vinga Modell & Verktyg i Arboga and tested the product Ecoline2tusen

It was a good desition, we now have controll when purified water passes through and disperses into the sea from our harbourarea. We are prepared of accidents while loading in the big area in the harbour.
There is five insert´s with filter, which has beeing checked out and analysed four times a year. Then we continue with two times a year.

Those analysies has given us the knowledge and information that we needed about surface water. We are going to install more inserts of Ecoline2tusen in the future.

Löfbergs arena and EcoLine2Tusen is a fine combination in a car park.

An installation of EcoLine2Tusen has been done in Arenan´s car park. All surface draining outlets has the insert installed. The filter EcoLine2Tusen absorbs about 90% of harmful liquids and purified water passes through.
